The society
Named for Keshav. Run by members.
Keshavsmruti — remembrance of Keshav — was registered on 24 October 2001 as a credit co-operative society (Reg. No. 32860). The flute and peacock-feather on the seal are Krishna’s signs. The work is quieter: members’ savings turned into members’ credit.
A credit co-operative is not a commercial bank and not a chit fund. Members own it. Surplus stays in the society. Rates are published, not whispered.
The society sits at Shop No. 8, Aditya Towers, near Brahma Samaj Chowk, Rajkot. The sitting managing committee is on the Board of Directors page.
The mantra around the seal is not decoration. It is the working rule — we protect one another, we nourish one another, we put our strength in together.
ॐ सह नाववतु, सह नौ भुनक्तु, सह वीर्यं करवावहै
May the Divine protect us both, nourish us both, and may we work together with vigour.
